Youi team is awesome! Thanks again for the race time toggle for mass start races. We would love to see that same option (view/toggle) to view actual race times/splits/intervals for mass start races in the following locations in order of priority:
1. Split timers
2. Finish timer
3. Dashboard
The "Results" tab already shows this information and more. In general, it's sufficient. It would be most helpful to see actual split/interval/both times instead of universal time on the split timers. Again, the universal time stamp isn't useful there. Of course the universal time is very important to the backend timing system, it's just not useful as a display for us. Thanks again!
Not sure what you mean with #1 and #2 - the toggle is visible in all timers as long as the race is a mass start race. In the dashboard all running clocks show the live mass start time as well. There's a 'finish line clock' option too in the dashboard that displays the live mass start on a large full screen display.
Sorry, I wasn't clear. I mean the recorded times for the individual race participants. Not the running clock (which you've already done and is AWESOME). Does that make sense?
Hi Josh, nice suggestion. We updated the running clock at the top of the timekeeper app to be able to display the mass start race time - as a user toggle. It won't affect individual time stamps though - as they need to be captured as global clock time for several reasons. See: https://www.raceclocker.com/Whatsnew.php#raceclocktoggle
Odd, all connected and open clocks should respond to the mass start signal. Does the 'mass start finish clock' (at https://raceclocker.com/RaceClock_MassStart_Live.php) start running as soon as you hit the mass start button in another tab/window? Otherwise DM me at cees@raceclocker.com to figure out the issue further.
We're not planning to increase the number of splits, but we are planning to improve lap race timing (which supports infinite timing points). Perhaps a feature could be to 'name' laps, in addition to numbering them - and this may then apply to sports like hyrox.
We run events at a small gym which is a Hyrox partner. We set each person or team off at 20 minutes intervals. Ideally the timing screen would show which event each person is currently doing and their times for each of their previous events. But, the events are a run then an activity...so....you could count a lap as one run and one activity...so two splits per lap. Then you could show what lap they are on (named for the event they are going to do) and the split could be the run then the event. That would be 8 laps. Hope that makes sense! Happy to chat more about it :)
Hi, great to hear about all the great developments with RaceClocker! Wondering if there are any plans to increase the maximum number of entrants per race over 500? For our last rowing time trial in December, we had close to 550 crew entries. An upper limit of 600 would be really useful, even if there is a premium to be paid! Perhaps a fee per extra 100 entries over 500? Hopefully the timing system can accommodate above 500?
Hi Muckross, the 500 cap was established some time ago to ensure good performance on a very broad range of devices. We will soon investigate how far we can stretch this limit in combination with a certain level of device specs and see if we are ready to allow exceptions.

Ah yes. Understood - that’s less trivial, but we’ll have a second look. That said, you can always check race times on the live results page of course.
Yes, the results tab has all that and we'll use that. Again the addition of the timer toggle has been great! Thanks again!

It's working great and we'll be able to use it for our upcoming season. One slight bug that doesn't impact us:
1. Start timer starts mass start
2. Mass start race time doesn't start
3. Toggle to running clock and back to mass start timer
4. Mass start timer still not showing any time
5. Close start timer tab
6. Open starter timer from "timers" tab
7. Mass start timer now displaying correct race time
Thanks again! See you on the course this season!

That's awesome! This is exactly what we needed. Thanks for making this feature happen!
Any plans to increase the number of splits available? Would love to use your app for hyrox but there are 16 events.

That could work, it would depend how it displays but an interesting approach.
Would you mind sharing what an ideal hyrox published result would look like?

Super! Sounds good, thanks for the quick reply :)
