QR code for sharing results
Sharing live results with your race participants is now even easier. When copying a link to public race results, we’re now including a QR code pop-up to the public link. The code can quickly be copied to your social media channels or for embedding on your web page.
UXAD program is a wrap
More than plenty very nice and useful product improvements and innovative ideas are the result of our collaboration with three teams of master students from the Delft University of Technology. Just before the summer break we wrapped up the program with the final team presentations at the design engineering faculty.
Many of the ideas and innovations from the program landed on our product roadmap and in the course of this year and next you’ll find new or improved features based on this fruitful collaboration.
Main navigation update
We have updated the main navigation in the RaceClocker manager app. As the list of features and options has been steadily growing over the past year, we've learned that especially new users lost a sense of 'Where am I?' in our top level navigation. We've improved this by making the high level places always visible and prominent via workflow ordered tabs that reflect the race timing process from start to end.
Each tab includes a secondary toolbar with all the features that are relevant for that part of the race creation and timing process. We included a new page labeled ‘Timers’ from where links for timekeepers are much easier to use and share.
Dutch rowing magazine appearance
The Dutch rowing magazine ‘Roei!’ published a nice background story about RaceClocker and its history. The full article is here (in Dutch only).
Quick search race results
The race results page now includes a text box at the top of the list from where you can quickly filter the list for the participant, category, club or bib number you’re looking for. Simply enter any text to quickly narrow down the list. The same feature is also applied to the start list, in order to speed up start list management.
